Priority Area (PA) ‘Institutional Capacities and Cooperation’ aims at stepping up institutional capacity and cooperation.

The PA serves as an information and communication hub for local, regional, national and European stakeholders responsible for as well as working in the field of institutional capacity building, participative governance and spatial development. The activities of Priority Area 10 aim at supporting policy and project development, stakeholder relations and capitalisation in the Danube Region.

The Priority Area formulates the following objectives:

·      Strengthening institutional capacities to improve decision-making and administrative performance.

·      Increasing involvement of civil society and local actors for effective policy-making and implementation.

·      Enhancing coordination and knowledge for better use of funding and to develop needs-based funding instruments.

The PA 10 is coordinated by the City of Vienna and the Centre for European Perspective on behalf of Slovenia.
